Cell Theory

1. French scientist  (Dutrochaete)gave the idea of cell theory in 1824.he first time indicate that tissues are made by the union of cells.
2. But the credit for formulating the cell theory is given given by Mathias Jacob,Scheilden and Theodar de Sachwann.
3. Cell theory proposed in 1839.
4. In 1838 Schwann observed that animal cell,donot have cell wall, he found that the interior of both animal and plant cell were almost same.
5. In 1838 Schleiden found that all plant cells have essentially similar structures.
6. Schleiden and Schwann compared their findings and formulated cell theory .
7. According to cell theory ,Cell is the structural  and functional unit of all living beings .
8. Omnis Cellula e cellulae {Rudolf Virchow} In( 1855 Announce) 1858 extended ,the cell Theory and suggested that an additional feature of the cell Theory , should be that "All living cell arises from pre existing living cells .
9. It is also called law of cell lineage.
10. This fact experimentally proved by Louis Pasteur.
11. In 1862 Louis Pasteur performed Swan neck Experiment and Discarded Abiogenesis hypothesis of Origin of life.
